
Today is, err... was Mother's day so before anything else, I'd like to greet all the mothers out there a very happy mothers day. I hope you all had a great time being pampered and taken cared of for a change. It's tough being a mom. And I know I'm guilty of not being able to show my own mom how much I care for her as much as I should. And true enough, I was not able to spend as much quality time as I wanted to with her today because I had a shoot. Oh well... I'll try to make it up to her after the elections.
Ok, back on topic. Yesterday I went down a couple of blocks from our street to a construction site with the hopes of documenting a day in the life of a carpenter.

In a perfect world, education is something that should be accessible to everyone.
However, in a world frustratingly governed by corruption and greed fed capitalism, circumstances put the common folk at the backseat and are at a grave disadvantage.
Something as basic as education becomes a luxury that the people cannot seem to have access to.
And that's total bull because it is this lack of knowledge and information that becomes a heavy cage of separation between opportunity and hardship.
This is just one issue mind you, there are countless more irritatingly stupid things going on around us. Sometimes I am just left to scratch my head and wonder what does it need to take to dig ourselves out of the mess we created.
But now with the presidential elections just around the corner, we will see if the newly elected leaders can guide the country to a better, more positive direction.
