Mark and I had tons of fun shooting Rachel and Arden's wedding last Sunday. And being that she was my cousin, I was extremely ecstatic at how the shots turned out because I really think we captured the personality of the bride and groom.

As for us, I'm pleased to say that we were able to deliver the vision we had for their wedding. Lots and lots of gorgeous bokeh with a bit of strobist goodness thrown in for good measure! Of course it really helped that both Arden and Rachel are gorgeous to photograph! Plus the venue/s were characters in their own right just begging to be framed!

Congratulations guys!

One lazy evening just as I was kicking back on the couch ready to enjoy a movie with my wife, I was surprised to get a call from my cousin Rachel. Puzzled and surprised (because she rarely calls ), I immediately sensed something was up. Half curious and half expecting the worst, I prepared myself for the news.

Dux... She goes on.
I have something to tell you..
A slight pause
But I'm afraid you might refuse..
C'mon, why would I refuse?
Another pause.
And then she blurts it out! 'Arden and I are getting married!
Wow! congratulations!!! Hang on, I don't get it... why would I refuse that?!
No no... she says with a slight chuckle. We want you to be our wedding photographer!
Are you serious? Of course! I'd be honored. When is the wedding taking place?
I could sense her excitement as she revealed the details.  'In a few weeks time!'

You know, I couldn't be happier for them. They've been together for so long I can't even remember the first time Rachel introduced me to Arden. Sure there were ups and downs, but that's part of the deal isn't it? And when they found each other again, they were rock solid. And now, heading towards the aisle :)

Anyway, fast forward to a few days later, we're actually done with the pre-wedding shots. Whoopee!
Although there was a slight hiccup in the theme (They were originally gunning for a midsummer night's concept but the costumes failed to materialize :p) we had a fantastic time during the shoot. And I think the photos really showcase that.

If these shots are already amazing, I'm 100% certain, the actual wedding shots will trump these a thousandfold.

One of the best simple yet meaningful weddings I have ever attended. Congratulations and best wishes again Web and Ria!!!

I'll send you the rest of the photos through Yvette or Karen. Thanks for letting us be a part of this special moment in your lives :)

This wedding proves once again that Jeff and Mimi really know how to make the people around them have a blast!

Our good friends Jeff and Mimi finally tied the knot last week in a fairytale inspired wedding! I was fortunate enough to be asked to shoot their 'save the date' prenup pictures and while I was at it, I made sure to take nice pictures of the couple during the wedding itself :) Congrats you two! Here's to a future together filled with blessings, love, laughter and more laughter!

Last Saturday I had a chance to accompany my fiancee to the wedding of her good friends Rachel and Chuck. Although I was not the official photographer, I think I managed to get in some nice shots of the beautiful couple :)

Below are some of my favorite images from the day.

Congratulations and best wishes again Chuck and Rachel!

On my birthday, I had the privilege of shooting two good friends on their most special day. Though that particular Monday was  hot and humid.. and even with all the frantic hustling and bustling of wedding festivities, I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend my own special day.

To Mark and Love, thank you for letting me be a part of one of the most wonderful weddings I have ever attended.

Congratulations once again! :)

Below are some of my favorite shots from the wedding:

Last week I had the opportunity to do an engagement shoot for my dear friends Mark Llena and Love Macapagal who are getting married this August.

Mark is a physicist and a certified genius while Love is an established dancer.

These two definitely come from different worlds yet somehow God has brought them together and they truly do compliment each others quirks extremely well.

The shoot concept revolved around the couple's unique personalities and we wanted to highlight the fact that as much as these two were as far apart as Newton and Pavlova, they truly do belong together :)
